Neil Gainer is a painter, printmaker, ceramicist, DJ, and musician.

“Hegemony of The Fool”

Hegemony of The Fool follows the archetypal “Fool’s Journey,” through a lens of surreal representations of problems facing the United States today. The beauty of the quasi-narrative path of the fool is its non-sequential iteration; akin to the stations of the cross, having no beginning and no end, brought upon by a McGuffin of happenstance.

South Suburban College is pleased to present: Hegemony of The Fool an exhibition of paintings and ceramic sculptures by Neil Gainer. The exhibition will be displayed in the Lee E. Dulgar Gallery from April 14th — May 19th, 2025. All are invited to join us at the artist reception in the gallery on May 1st, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
